Selecting the appropriate size container is the first step towards successful shipping. A too-small carton will sag and provide no room for the product to be cushioned. Overly large cartons will either enable the product to slide around during delivery, which is usually the reason for damage, or will need excessive fill to keep the things stable.
These boxes have flaps that meet in the center when folded.
Corrugated cartons’ measurements are shown as L x W x D. The length is the longest side of the box, the width is the adjacent side and the depth (or height) is the distance between the scores that create the flaps. Measurements shown for cartons are inside dimensions.
