Drum Spotter is an innovative drum handler design that easily moves a rimmed 55 gallon drum onto and off pallets to 6″ high. The Drum Spotter is an ergonomic, simple-to-use and economical way to move drums around your facility. 800 lb. capacity.
1. To Lift a Drum, roll the Drum Spotter to the corner of a pallet. Position handle so hooks are below drum rim. Pull handle down to lift drum clear of pallet. Dual ratchets hold up the drum when handle is pulled down. The operator then holds no weight and does not need to balance the Drum Spotter. Drum stays upright to be wheeled away.

2. To lower drum To lower drum to floor or onto a pallet, the operator pushes down and uses the two hand operated releases which allow the handle to rise. The length of the handle provides leverage to manage the descent of the drum gently.
3. Steel Hooks The steel hooks release their hold after the drum settles on the floor or pallet. This picture also shows the starting position for lifting a drum from the floor.
4. Lifting Handle The handle of the Drum-Spotter is conveniently held up by a gas spring. The ratchets stop the handle in position for the operator to take hold and use it. These ratchets also hold the weight of the drum when lifted.
