Description
Eagle-Grip® 3 Series Attachments utilize heavy-duty single automatic clamping mechanisms for handling a wide range of steel, plastic or fiber drums in high volume applications.
All fork mounted models can be installed or removed within seconds and are completely mechanical, requiring no hydraulic or electrical connections to the lift truck.
Double drum handling attachments are narrower than the width of two 55-gallon drums, enabling easy unloading of tightly packed drums. Quick adjustable heads allow the attachments to pick up various drum heights. Narrow Fork Frame models are also available for tight aisle applications.
The clamping mechanisms are completely mechanical requiring no hydraulic or electrical connections. Positive actions jaws insure safe transporting of drums without damage to drum chimes. Carriage mounted models are available to mount directly on the carriage of most lift trucks.
Fork mounted models enable lift truck operators to install/remove the attachment in seconds without any tools. Totally enclosed fork pockets with attached safety chain and cam lock secures the attachment to the lift truck.

SRC OPTION: All metal surfaces which can contact a drum being lifted or released are non-ferrous stainless steel with non-sparking alloy clamping jaws. Includes an anti-static rubber belt which rests against the lower side of the drum when lifted.
QUICK-CLAW OPTION: Eliminates the need for operator dismount from the lift truck to install the OSHA requirement safety chain. Quick-Claw Cam Locks automatically lock the attachment onto the lift truck blades when the attachment is lifted. A safety chain does not come with the Quick-Claw option. Fork pockets extension is to 43″ in length.
