    Bobby Riggs

    I was born and raised in Charleston SC. I graduated in 1971 with a BS in Marketing from the University of South Carolina. Happily married to my beautiful wife and we have a son and daughter. My hobbies include fishing, hunting, golfing, and all sports played by the Gamecocks. I love my family and so I enjoyed coaching my kids as they grew up from an early age to high school.

    I was employed as a salesman in 1971 for a metal fabrication company covering the eastern US. So, my customers were mostly in the manufacturing sector of textiles and tire industry. In 1978, I founded Custom Equipment Company as a Distributor and Manufacture’s representative for all industries and thus enjoy creating products that benefit my customers throughout the US.

    Chief Executive Officer - Accounting / Human Resources

    Born in Providence, Rhode Island, I moved to South Carolina when I was three years old. After I graduated from Stratford High School, I went on to graduate from Trident Technical College where I studied bookkeeping. I began working with Custom Equipment Company in June 2012.

    Responsible for oversight of company operations, I handle all Operating Procedures, Accounting and Human Resources. I currently live in Summerville, SC with my husband and our three young children. We have two Boxers Sophie and Penny and a Yorkie, Oliver. In my spare time I enjoy running and coaching my children’s soccer teams. I also love to craft and make shirts.

    Director of Sales and Business Development

    I am a 1996 Graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Business. Upon graduation, I began my sales career with Ferguson Enterprises working my way from inside sales to outside sales. I was responsible for starting and promoting a new business development unit with the newly formed underground utilities division in Bluffton, SC. Leaving this position in 2004, I set off to pursue an opportunity with a smaller family owned business called Custom Equipment Company, which is where I remain today.

    I have continued my passion for business development through business to business relationships which I like to consider ‘Partnerships’. I bring value to my customers by providing a supply chain that not only delivers high quality products, but reliable delivery as well. I’ve built a strong knowledge and emphasis in our industry fields. These include returnable packaging, ergonomics, storage solutions and material handling as a whole. I like to be the “GO TO GUY” when someone needs help with any new projects or problems they are having. I look forward to bringing value to you through comprehensive analysis, consultation and solutions.

    Outside of my professional life, I have been happily married since 2004. My wife and I have 2 wonderful children. Both are in grade school and fill up our remaining time outside school. However, when I have time I do like to golf, hunt, serve in my community and attend USC football games. Go Cocks!

    I was born and raised in Orangeburg, SC and attended the University of South Carolina. I graduated in 1972 with a BA in History and Business and went right to work. Since graduation I have been in and around the packaging business for the last 30+ years. This, after and while, serving in the National Guard. Bud Moore

    I wanted to finish my career with a family owned company that I could bring value and expertise to. So I am proud to be a member of the CEC team. I have completed the Afflink Inc. packaging certification exam and was awarded Certified Packaging Specialist ( CPS ) certificate.
